assessment hours include interviews with parents and collateral sources (teacher, other professionals), direct 1:1 testing time, administration of questionnaires, review of relevant background information, test scoring and interpretation, report writing, and feedback to parents
depending on age and purpose, assessments can range from 4-12 hours
